Hi
I am hoping you guys can help me here please. As part of my Diploma in Forestry I am doing a Survey on professional chainsaw operators.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could find the time to fill it out. I have posted it on my facebook page, I have only had 27 replys so the stats are very weak at the moment.

Thanks you

If we need a facebook account to get to it, alot of us won't be able to help.

Nothing fishy here

HI

I just cant get the local loggers here to do it, hell I even offered a box of beer with no effect. After beating myself up on the hill for 20 years I decided to do my forestry Diploma (knees are worn out) and we have a very large project to do as part of it.

What I have noticed is that Americans seem to be computer literate than Nz ones. The survey is done through Survey Monkey. Any more questions?

I never been on facebook, have no desires to either.

Likewise.

I clicked on the survey, but I'm not a logger, so my inputs wouldn't help the actual research. I'm just a weekend firewood cutter and saw hack.

any help will do

Thanks any way. I hope you guys are enjoying your spring, winter is making its self known here, I'm expecting a frost tonight.

I wish it was still winter. Favorite season. Instead, we had our first real thunderstorm of the season this afternoon. Black sky for a while. I hate working in the rain! Good luck on your project. Wish I could have helped some how.

Hey whats the story with the logging in Tassie? Is all the native over there locked up?

Not completely locked up but getting close. The Greens party (hippy organic soy latte drinkers and whale huggers) got a fair few seats in Tasmanian politics and have pretty well wrecked the state.
I don't think too many people were happy about old growth forests being logged but the moron greenies are calling areas "old growth" that were completely destroyed by bushfires in the 1960's.

I could never see the point of locking up gum forests, if ever there is a species that needs active management its Gum trees.

You need to watch the greenies, they are bloody dangerous

Yeah, can't do it as I've never had a Facebook account - I'm into antisocial networking.

I wonder how many AS members have Facebook accounts? I'll bet it's a lot lower than the average.

You don't have to be on facebook, just click on his link in the first post and the survey comes up. or at least it does here and i don't have a facebook account.
