Sometimes you need to work when it's wet. I don't like the usual raingear or "oilskins" since it is too stiff and noisy for working the woods.
Yesterday here Downeast, I worked clearing a property line in a moderate rain, temps in the 40's F. It needed doing for a weekend program. The line was thickly overgrown with fir, pine and spruce saplings, and blowdowns. Clothing was all Virgin Poly . Wet going through the softwoods. In a few hours without raingear ( dumb ) I was cold and wet ( DUH ).
Ideas for chainsaw working raingear that will stand up to hard use and is subtle enough for working ? What do you Scandinoovians use ?
