Brian, The condition you describe could be caused by a ignition going south. A two stroke is quite happy running backwards. My snowmobile actually has a feature that allows the ignition to cause the motor to run backwards.

Electronic reverse on a snowmobile is bizzare. The ecu waits until the engine is warm enough to handle it then without shutting the engine off fires the plugs so early that it makes the engine run backwards, wanna go forward again?, repeat process.

Growing up I had a friend roll start his little honda motorcycle by going down a hill backward and it would run backward. Funny as hell to watch, esp when he canned up.

The Echo is obviously nervous and confused after watching the PP346 eat. (Saws talk to each other when no one is around, ya know). :alien:

W_R_M, how about a take-off of the movie "Toy Story"?  We could develop the story line here in a collaborative manner.

I nominate the working title to be "Chainsaw Story".

Glen
