in the 50 cc class the partner 5000 is the saw to be in stock form
The 346 is close but the 5000 is faster . In mod form the 346 is better

Hi Ed, I was trying to keep it a secret about the P5000, but if you listen real close, every woodtick from Monterey to Maine just bolted from their computer to beg, borrow or steal a Partner 5000.

Cheater 50

Gypo, the Honda 50 cheater motor is really what you want. I have one I'll trade you, for a new 0.88. A lot of work, but nobody will put it to ya! Dennis

ya
We have a couple of small shows close to me that have true stock classes,I know i have had every saw torn down and checked, You can run any chain you want but only pump gas
air filter has to be on and no holes in the muffler. I have won the 50 cc class 2 out of 4 years but i know the saw that won the other 2 years is faster just the operator is not and it is a 5000 p
i have one here just like new in the corner but i just might keep it nice and shiney i was running a 346

ehp, Can-a-log has those real strict rules about gas and holes in your covers. I did hear there changing some of the rules so more people will compete. For a long time they really didn't want Americans to come up there and take there money! When you can't run fuel and no heads and so on, you just aren't keeping up with the times, and don't improve your equipment. Dennis

had 95vp on the 295 and partner.
full chisel on the 026.. dont get me wrong .. not by much ,,but that partner is a a tad faster .. having said that,, this was just barely warmed up .. the 026 seems to get faster the more u use it.. thanks joker for the correction .. i knew it didnt sound rite ..

yes Dennis
Out east of the great prov. of B. C , we donot use can log rules
You are also correct on that they have not kept up on there saws.
we have a east canada againt west canada for the last 2 years.
The first year they didnot bring any saws at all they wanted to borrow saws i know woodland let carl run his stock stroke 3120 not sure on any others. this year they came with 5 chainsaws i believe and carl's 250. Onthe first day it is a show where anybody can come and play . By the end of day one they wre done to 2 saws plus carl's bike. So they borrowed again , carl's young lad run roger' s stroker . But they have changed there rules as long as you and i donot show up , but they are to be running alcohol so they say but time will tell

ehp, Dan Hicks stopped by and spent the weekend about a month ago. I think he's on the west team, but I know he's involved in Can-a-log. He told me they were going to go to alkie and some other rule changes. Can-a-log also has a web site if people are interested or want info. Dan is also the cannon bar rep., so we help each other out a bit! Have you met him?How did Carl's honda run ? Dennis

Ya i meet Dan
He can remember me because i was the guy that tried to help him with that 3120.
I told him that something was missing from his fuel but he said no . The saw had no high speed jet in the carb and was just so rich it would not go to high rpm's, so i told him that he was missing some kind of octane booster , then the light went on , off to canadian tire he went came back with some stuff , maybe he should of not went it blew up in the up cut in 16 pine. Carl had to much to do i think , his saw cut good but had to pull it twice each day , he seem not to warm up much , like 5 to 8 seconds, maybe less than that. Plus with the difference in height of land he may have been not jetted right
Dan parked right beside woodland , and mcphee, he gave me a cannon hat to
