Chaps vs Pants

I know these things are always a bit of a debate...
But I am suprised at the number of people who wear chaps vs pants so...

Not enough options Matt. Pants? Aach mon, how can yer privates breathe? I cannae find a chainsaw kilt but I cannae disappoint the lassies by donnin' yer crazy pants!

Seriously, I cannot imagine working in a kilt-until the tenps get up above 100*F-then it almost makes sense.

wins points on comfort for sure but would definitely provide some interesting views from below

this here would be the kilt to get, though. it even comes in a beer gut cut!

id be tempted to get one, but if i ever need to wear a kilt up a tree im sure i'll get by with my clan tartan.....

Hey Matt, I like chaps myself. They are cooler in the summer, adjustable in winter, if your chaps have buckles instead of zippers, and offer the same protection as pants.

Pants if in the tree (really only on removals as I don't use the chainsaw much on prunings...) and chaps on the ground.
