I kept the wheels on mine. That has got to be a lot of localized stress on the the Unimog's chipper set up.

Something like that pulling a trailer with a spiderlift is pretty much my DREAM for a small job rig. Though The Dan makes a good point about how long that Uni will withstand the weight on the front axle. Also I have some questions as to how legal that ##### would be to bomb down the highway. Either way, it's a cool setup.

i've seen that setup before, and have been transfixed by it. I know that we have front-bumper restrictions here in the states, and that probably wouldn't fly. I think we can get away with 4' or so in front, but no more. And that varies from state-state, and don't even try to call your dmv since no one will understand your question or know the answer.

I can't quite understand how the chute, at that angle, wouldn't get clogged! I know I point my chute up that far, clog is for sure. Maybe it's just a really high-powered chipper with turbo fan boost.

The mog will take that weight all day long.

Great point about the chute, and the dmv for that matter. I really think that thing is a specific situation machine, and probably isn't used on the "normal" jobs.
