I happen to like this tree for it's seasonal appeal, although the one I planted approximately 10 yrs ago has had smaller leaves in the last 2 yrs and dropped some of it's leaves early while maintaining a few yet before it gets cold. I live in Tucson and have it in an island appr 10 ft wide surrounded by multiple water leads to various plants. It is appr 25 feet tall. No insects apparent. Fertilized last spring and again a little this fall.
