Chinaberry Tree ?

I happen to like this tree for it's seasonal appeal, although the one I planted approximately 10 yrs ago has had smaller leaves in the last 2 yrs and dropped some of it's leaves early while maintaining a few yet before it gets cold. I live in Tucson and have it in an island appr 10 ft wide surrounded by multiple water leads to various plants. It is appr 25 feet tall. No insects apparent. Fertilized last spring and again a little this fall.

So what is your question, they don't need alot of water.

My question is why are the leaves smaller than they used to be? I've seen other CB trees that are more lush.

Maybe your tree lives in a litle island that restricts growth. It is trying to adapt to it's enviroment.
