We have a Vermeer bc1500. It's got phat double sided blades. The blade edge is like an in and a half deep. Chainsaw shop can ship em out but it's a coons age before they get back. Our local fella can't manage the flat edge and leaves them round. I've only got some small grinding ing equipment and leave a bevel when we're desperate for sharp blades. We have four sets. Doesn't seem worth it to get another four sets just so the shop can have 5weeks to handle them over and over. Anybody got decent medium duty diy sharpening solutions?
