I finally decided that I am willing to sell the WoodPro 20D160.
$1900 -buyer to pick up here or I'll deliver within 600 miles for 50cents per mile additional. Comes with 3 extra sets of sharp knives and the owner's manual. Capacity is 4 inch material-It works very well on straight stuff. 16hp B&S Vanguard Vtwin. Tires are good As you can see when comparing to the ones on the linked website I added a suspension and spare tire and changed the tongue.

Looks to be in good condition, I started with a chipper of the same design.
It was very productive for a small chipper. I like the side feed chute, it allows you to stay in the yard instead of being out in the street.
They are a good choice for someone starting out that has a low budget for tools.

David, It has served me well. You were wiser than I in moving up to a larger machine quickly. The Woodpro was/is great for running around doing minor pruning jobs. It is nice for rolling out into an orchard and chipping up the prunings. I have done a lot of removals with it too but it would have been advantageous to have got the bigger chipper sooner. I realize that this isn't the ideal machine for the majority of our arborist members but it might be useful for a part-timer or for someone with a farm or orchard to use on the place. The one thing that I miss from this machine when using my 984 is the chip quality-The WoodPro makes beautiful, fine chips. It is very fast on straight stuff but crooked limbs and open crotches require a lot of trimming.

Backing it really stinks......BUT....... it is light enough that a guy can just unhook it and grab the handles I have on the tongue and run it into position by hand. It is handy for tight quarters for that reason.

I only asked because I already knew the answer, Those little chipper are a beach to backup. Mine takes two to roll around by hand. I'm doing a thinning project right now that a little chipper is perfect for. I can drive it down into the area with my little izuzu without tearing up the ground at all, I think that would be near impossible with a large chipper, not due to the weight of the chipper, but the truck neccessary to pull it. One of these days I'll be able to buy a big chipper, but I think that I would keep the little one for those unusual situations where it could be a time saver.

later.

Once upon a time I had an ATV (4 wheeler) that I could drag the WoodPro around with. -Usefull on a couple of jobs but those are really few and far between. I really thought about keeping the Little guy-I have one customer that I use it for every year-handroll it through the gate and into the Orchard. If it doesn't sell it doesn't matter but I barked my shins on the tongue and knocked my noggin on the chute one time too many (I have limited parking) and decided I'd rather sell it and watch for a deal on a Chuck and Duck for right of way clearing-We shall see.
