I saw an episode of Holmes on Homes Saturday evening in which they showed a chipper that was mounted on the frame of a truck and you stuck the limbs in right at the bumper.

They did not show enough to get a good view just enough to peek my interest.

Quality Tree Service was the company but my google search proved useless as their are tons of QTS.

I saw the same thing and thought, "Cool"! For the brief instance I saw it, it kinda looked like a cargo van type truck with a chipper where the slide out ramp would be. Very unique - never seen anything like it but sure looked interesting. It had to have been a drum style chipper as compact as it seemed and I guessed it ran off of a pto from the truck but not sure...?????

I left a message for the owner of the company featured on the show.

I will post a pic as soon as I get the scoop.

I seen it too! Pretty neat, wonder if it runs off the engine via pto or hyd or something

move that to the back and stick it under the chip box and you got it.

I left the guy a message to call me back but no return phone call so far. Good thing I did not want a tree removed...

I guess it wasnt anything like this was it?

Best damn truck in the whole wide world!

Yeah I've seen that pic before on here. That thing is sweet for sure. Does it have AC so you can drive it around from one mess to the other while the men scurry about chipping away?? Just kidding of course. seriously though-no hooking or unhooking chipper ever! Wow.

Theres one for sale for about 14k US at the moment, no chipper but it wouldnt be hard to get a local company to make one for it. Its just to big for access in our tight little town, or I would buy one in a snap.

Heres some other mogs, note with pto chipper mounted on back.

thanks for the info....I would really like to get the scoop on this truck...looks like it would be awesome for small trim jobs and tight spots.
