It's been a few years since I've done any major equipment or truck painting.
Just wondering from those of you who do a lot of your own autobody work, what paint you would suggest for my chip truck.

The last truck I painted, I used Dupont Centari Acrylic Enamel with an activater and hardener. 3 coats - no clear coat. It's held up well going on 8 years now. I'm hiring someone to do this truck. He has given me a couple of options on paint but I'd like to hear from you guys as to what has worked well for you on tree care equipment. I am looking for durable and decent looking from a reasonable distance - don't need to win any car shows.

Thanks, AP.

This is the last truck I painted 8 years ago. Some light rust showing up around the mirror mount holes. Otherwise, still looking good IMO. I used the Dupont Centari Acrylic Enamel - 3 coats with hardener and activater sprayed on. No clear coat.

Hmmm. No replies. The economy must be improving - everybody's working today instead of playing on their computers...

We decided on a primer coat to help cover the orange, 2-3 coats of White Acrylic Urethane with a hardener/activator and a clear top coat.

Any comments? Anybody? Bueller?
