Christian Tree Forums and/Leads in NJ??

Does anyone know of any Christian Tree Forums and/or Christian lead companies for NJ?

I own a tree service based out of Middlesex and Somerset county, NJ and would love to get involved with a Christian company that provides leads for tree work.

I work for a pastor/arborist and let me be blunt. When it comes to business you'll lose your shirt my friend. Christian yellow pages are the absolute worst leads their are. A different boss and highly intellegent business owner (Dayton tree specialist) he said they expect something for nothing because you have similar faiths. I love my christian brothers but if you give them a deal charge twice as much or you'll be left without. B4 I left Oregon a author and multi millionair brother tried to tell me times are tough and work me down $20 and hour less then I did the work for 2 years ago......Forget it.

Keep the cross and fish of your business cards as well. If they ask tell. But don't profess. N.ot good business

Some of the worst customers were from our church which is non-denominational. I actually asked for my business card back from one of them, and told him to never call me again.

I go to a large church in Los Angeles and have gotten a lot of work from it. Especially when I was first starting out they were incredibly helpful and generous. When I was getting off the ground a man whom I had met only once gave me a truck and another person gave me a trailer.

I have never had a bad experience though it is a little awkward sometimes. I don't lower my prices (unless I am very close with them) nor do I assume that they expect a lower price. I actually prefer to work for people whom I have never met though.

My faith in Christ defines who I am and my purpose and life and I often share it with others with whom I interact in business. However, I would not use it as a marketing tool and do not have a fish or cross on my trucks or business card.

You are better off getting leads through your reputation and the internet. I prefer yelp and angies list.

I agree that it's not good business to mix business with religion. It's just something else people will use to judge you by or try to use you because of. Best to keep it to yourself.

All kidding asides was doing nite and I walked into a black bar on my lunch break aound 1230am working over in the center of Camden with a t shirt on that said I ain't your ####ing bro ! I got a couple of looks but I didn't have any problems . My buddy and uncle walked in ahead of me so if someone was gonna shoot me and missed it wouldn't hit them LOL

I gotta tell you I think they're right. I've been thinking of getting a service directory within our congregation going. The hard thing about anything impersonal like a leads company is anyone can join. Stick around, there are fellow followers of Christ here and on ********, another arborist forum I frequently visit.
