Ran across a Chrysler chainsaw recently. Appeared to be complete with app. 24" b/c. This is the first for me. It had low compression although the owner said it would run. Just wondering if it is a rarity or just a first for me. Thanks Tom

I would say they are rare. I dont see them for sale anywhere.
All the collectors i know have not come across them. I have only
seen one for sale on ebay in the last 3 years and i have it.
Model 50010, I restored it, What model is yours.

Here are some befor and after pictures.

nice saw

great job on the restoration. I would imagine it would rattle your teeth out or is that not the case? Out of curiousity what modern common saw is it comparable to in terms of cutting power.

Very good looking saw. I do not own the one I was talking about. Was talking to a man at saw shop and he was told me about this big saw he had. Followed him home to look at it and it was a Chrysler. Do not know what model. No writing or numbers except on the manufactures plate. I do not know if it was model number or serial number. He lives about seventy miles away. I will check with him the next time I go back to Olive Branch. Will let you know if I get it. Tom
