How did you fare in last night's storm in the Queen Charlottes? Get called out today??

Ain't been there for a few months, thanks for asking. That place is full of good, tough people, I am sure they are ok. The winds there are really something, in the body of water that lies between the Charlottes and mainland B.C. (Hecate Straight) there are waves over 40'. I have seen big spruce trees in the bush that were at one time the tallest trees around, with thier tops ripped right off at like 3', this is on trees 6'-8' dbh that are still 150'tall. Last winter my house was shaking from gusting high winds that went on for over 36 hours, it ain't a boring place weatherwise, more rainbows than ever, rain and sun at the same time often.
