You do not need someone to describe the process. You need to find someone with experience who can give you some lessons, in person. Unless you've climbed spikeless a good long time and are familiar with tying in and securing yourself with a lanyard as well, you will be putting yourself at no small amount of risk to just strap on spikes and head up a tree. Trust me on this. Find a teacher.

yer i am going to college but i dont want them to think i am thickand should not be in this line of work
