Climbing Schools

Hey there I have been cutting trees for about 24yrs on and off. I am not a Pro climber by all means, most of the time I climb up the tree pull up my 15yr old craftsmen 10"bar and start cutting holding on very tight. I am a firefighter and heights don't bother me, I am looking for a school on tree climbing so I can do it safely. Any information willhelp.

yes bro, acrt by you is a training center there is arbormaster classes, fits classes the others are usually otj, reach out to climbers in your area here , , btw if your holding on tight ya aint doing it right, no ones gonna care how big yer balls were at your wake or hospital bed. look for help here, the good guys will find ya j

I would also recommend the Arbormaster classes, if you can't find some other climbers to give you some pointers.

Oh yeah, buy this book - Tree Climbers Companion by Jeff Jepson - it will really help.
