Hi all I am having a wonderful day with my saws my first saw Poulan 1950 was running strong and then ran out of gas so after filling it up and trying to start it again the chain would spin when I pulled the starter cord so I thought the clutch springs went bad but nope they were fine so found out bearing is seizing up. So I would like to know if anybody knows the part # for this part. Next saw is a Stihl 038 Mag II. (my baby) I was out cutting up some Live Oak into firewood and noticed fuel leaking out of the carb area I find out its the fuel breather line that is all cracked and crumbles in my hand when I try to put it back on the orifice. My question is can I use any rubber fuelline type hose to replace this line and just put the breather into the new hose instead of the stihl hose? I guess when it rains it pours. I have to do some cutting at work tomorrow we'll see if my work saw (Stihl 460) joins in the fun.

PS I know the poulan is a short lived saw but got it new for $45 so I used it for my experiments with muffler mods and she runs like a champ now.

Order Part# DSB 37325 Sprocket Bearing Part# 5324 372 Fuel Line These parts are available thru Bailey's, cut a piece of the fuel line off the length you need then screw the vent inserts into each end of the line you cut off. You will have to screw the one in a little further on the end that connects to the fuel tank. This will get you back up and running again.
PS Don't forget to smear a little grease inside and out on the bearing before installing it!

Thank you AZLogger. Got do some falling on the Bear Fire in NM last year it was fun. Drove through springerville from 40 it was a beautiful drive.
