couple of weeks ago my very well used husky 350 started to knock and squeal also froze up the engine when I hit the chain brake. Thought the bottom end was gone, so put it on the parts shelf and ordered a new 353 because this is my busy time of year. After ordering the 353 I remembered MR Sawtroll and others giving rave reviews to the Husky 346, so I said the hell with it I ordered a new 346 from Wise Equipment Schaumburg Ill. $450.00 free shiping.
When I finally had time I took a look at my old 350 and sure enough it was only a hair line crack in one of my clutch leaf springs, replaced the clutch and she works like new again, old muffler mod and she really screams with a 16 inch bar & chain.
Now I have 3 great 50cc saws.
Guess I will have to cut three times more wood this winter to justify the cost.
