The '60s Remington 6P sold but the buyer didn't need the bar and chain so...

We're not sure what brand the bar is...but it isn't a Remington. It has obviously been modified to fit the 6P at some point. mounted, bar measures 17" from case to tip. It is close to being straight but not quite.
Might make good material for a nice knife :p

Chain is 1/2" pitch, semi-skip, 47DL, .063g
Looks like Mac chain. after dip and Dremel wire wheel...shows "Super Pro" CMC (a C above and below a larger M).
# on the rakers is 30. Any numbers on the drive links have been worn off.
cutters/rakers in good shape.
Pitting from rust that has been completely removed.

Price? B/O
I can't find anything on the value so offer what it/they might be worth to you. :D

That'd be a "McC" on the chain, (for the first three letters of McCulloch) not "CMC"

Good luck with sale!

I offered several rolls of 1/2" chain on here a while back for $1/driver and got laughed at. Had around 300ft all together.
Funny though, sold them all on eBay for 1.50/driver.

Gotta love eBay

Can't beat the tens of thousands of people on there everyday. I had listed just the larger roll and a guy bought it within a day or so of me listing it. He called the shop to see if we had anymore, so I ended up selling another roll. I still have 2 rolls, but they just have 4-5ft on each. One is Stihl chain, the other Zip Penn.
Tried selling them on here along with a few used loops and never got any interest.

I did find out though the eBay fees are up there now. I started using ebay around 1997, and it was quite reasonable. Now they have a fee on the auction, shipping and the payment. Overall it was somewhere around 15% of the sale from what I can remember.
I guess not as bad as the Ritchie auction though. We went to sell a lowboy trailer with them this fall.

Seller fee is 25% if under $2500, 15% if over, with a min of $100, plus a $60 title processing fee. And there is a buyer's fee as well. I want to say it's 10%.
If that trailer sold for $3500, we'd only see about $2950 out of it and the auction would make about $900!
On a $150k piece of equipment, that's a profit of around $50k to the auction co!
