Forestry company located outside of Breckenridge, Colorado is looking to fill a positions for the summer season.
We are looking for an equipment operator. Ideal candidates will have experience operating forestry equipment such as skid steers with masticating heads/grapples, skidders, forwarders. Mechanical skills also required. Looking for conscientious operator that can diagnose issues and do preventative maintenance. Willing to train the right individual.
Also looking for a sawyer. Candidates should have previous experience working in a high production, hand felling forestry environment. Work focus primarily on fuel reduction projects. The ability to use wedges, directional felling skills, can sharpen a chainsaw, and safety conscious required. Willing to train the right individual.
Good physical conditioning is required. Most of our jobs are located at a high elevation in the Colorado mountains. Many of our projects also require that we hike in to the job site each day.
Positions require flexibility to travel depending on job site locations. We work in and around Summit and Park counties, outside of Breckenridge, Alma, Confier, etc.
