Enough to get myself very much started on a new chainsaw!

Im trying hard to not break down and buy more gun parts, because... in all fairness I've got way more guns that I do saws...

I might go by and get some price quotes tomarrow, see how far this check will take me... and how fast its going to go:jawdrop:

Well, if you are not going to buy a saw then buying a gun is probably the next best way to spend your money.

If you are not going to buy a saw or a gun, then put your money in a retirement plan so you can buy one later.:)

 You guys are a little sick in the head.

I like Guns,
after that, I like Saws.

Apparently, I cannot have too many of either.

jesus its so different over the water in the UK, if like me you have a saw to cut fire wood " because i choose to burn wood" you are a little strange and not all there. if i said i wanted a gun as well i would be a "phsyco" mass murderer. you all have a much more liberal way of thinking and let every one do the each to their own thing and dont pass judgement. The more i fool around with the wife saying a want to move to the USA the more i think i realy do mean it. as you would say ,,,, just my 2c worth,,,,lol lol lol lol

Buy the gun and then "convince" your local Stihl dealer to let you "borrow" a 660 for "awhile". HaHa, just kidding.

If you think saws and guns are expensive. My hobby is long range shooting. We shoot nickels and empty .22 cartridges over at 100-150 yards with .22LR for practice and because it is cheaper. Then we go over to the 800 yard range and start dropping $2.36 per round down range. Tie breakers involve shooting animal crackers, half an half containers or paint balls glued to a board at 800+ yards.

If you're ever up north. We have a new target game for 2007 at the club.

We have a 4x4 RC car that has a red and yellow balloon tied to it. We run it out down-range and let it bounce and drive around in circles...then when a bizzer goes off, you have ten seconds to shoot the yellow ballon without hitting the red one.

This is a new twist on an old game, shoot the ballon tied to the post...then shoot and cut the string.

I stay out of the long range world, that gets expensive REALLY fast.

Its not much cheaper to play with AR-15's, but I can get more for the same money... granted all they do is burn ammo faster, but thats cheap :ices_rofl:

I keep my long range shooting to about 400 yards on praire dogs, which is pretty much nothin to what you guys are doing... But I can't get enough of that red mist when you center punch a varmint clean off his hole... :rockn: :rockn:

The long range group got started when some of the guys who were scout/snipers in the gulf (both times) started heckling the other guys who are deer hunters.

It's pretty funny to hear someone expound about a 150-300 yard shot and hit a target the size of a small cow. Then of course, they had to track it for half a mile because it wasn't a heart-lung shot.

Varmint hunting is an AWESOME sport to be sure. I was watching the Discovery channel and down in Lousiana they have the SWAT sharpshooters out shooting Nutria along the dikes and dams at night with a silenced semi-auto rifle.

I'm a really big fan of the AR-15, wish it had 3-round burst. Ha. We had Smith & Wesson at the club a few months ago. A silence 9mm Full auto prototype "Toy" somehow got out to the firing line. Did you know that you can make a pumpkin disappear? Good times were had by all.
