Hello all. I'm looking for western CT millers to shadow to get some real world experience with chain saw mills and portable band saw mills before I drop some cash of my own. I'm looking into milling as a hobby and for personal projects down the road.
I can offer payment in the use of my strong back, an extra pair or hands and eyes, and beer/bourbon at the end of the day if need be.
Right now I just cut for firewood.
