Hello,
I have a smallish front yard and I’m concerned with the roots of a Weepjng willow doing damage to the house, water system and drive way. Where I can plant the tree I have about 9’ circumference before the root system would hit one of these. I would like to know if I were to plant a willow tree in a 3’ deep x 6’ round, plastic stock tank would this keep the trees roots away from the house, basically just growing it in a large pot (buried) . I relize that the tree will not grow as tall but that’s ok, I would be perfectly happy with a 10’-12’ tree. Thanks in advance!
