Since Arborpro posted about the other cool camera, seems like a good time to post another camera I just learned about.

Website's 6 years old...wonder what research they have used it in.

I've used soil corers that pull out plugs 1/ deep, replace them with barren soil, then pull em out one season later chock full of roots.

At virginia tech they have a 4x8' plexiglas wall they look at roots through.
