I stumbled across Arboristsite.com looking for info on modifying my saw. Some really good info here. Im not in the Arborist business by any means just have a interest in 2-strokes in general. I do have land and cut firewood though.
I Have a 026pro with 20 bar adjustable carb and considering modifying the muffler.
Does anyone cut there heads? I race outboard boats and the first mod we make in general is this. What compression are these saws running stock?
Also i was looking around the search feature and saw some nice porting pics.
Aren't Stihl saws chrome bore cylinders?
