Howdy again. I just got finished digging through the archives of the search feature and couldn't seem to come up with this one.

Does anyone have a manual or know off the top of their head how to adjust the carb on one of the old Craftsman Roper saws? 3.7cu 18" Circa late 70s? I think it's one of the later saws before Craftsman saws changes manufacturers. The carberator is a Nikkita or something like that. It has the standard Hi, Low, and Idle Adjustments.

It's all out of whack and I need a good starting point.

Thanks,
Nick

A good starting point is one turn out from lightly seated for both Hi and Low jets.

I have a tech manual to that saw somewhere and can see what that says but it should be close to that.

Excellent. I'll be giving it a shot tomorrow. I had the manual to an older saw but it showed a saw with just the low adjustment.

Your help is GREATLY appreciated:)
