i try to make as many cuts as possible. i am the one sharpening the saw!


they might look tough Adrpk but once you get to know them. bennieboy does "mean mug" with the best of them though.

I'd be happy with that butt cut.

I shut down for the winter and was wondering about the clean up with all the snow. Do you come back in the spring for a final (clean up any sawdust, etc.) or are you done when you leave?

sure the crane keeps things clean. less cutting.


winter discount probably keeps us busy along with whatever else rolls on in. storm damage and what not.

regarding the cleanup in winter, you might have to go over things twice (and that usually doesnt seem to be enough either) but the HO's understand for the most part. theres snow on the ground! its happened though, call backs for extra cleanup. it never seems to be on any of the jobs ive worked though. i find that rather interesting. lol

yah. there was a drain a couple feet from the front rigger near the garage entrance. he didnt want to over stress the area. L knows his sh!t bigtime. i'd climb off any crane he runs. thats a good feeling on a hairy cut.

yup, for the most part.

i ended up a little lower on the right side of that cut. i dont think i cut through all of the holding wood though. i believe it snapped from the wedging but it still fell true from the proper amount of "hold" from the middle to the left.

i wasnt too happy about that cut. but hey it went where it needed to go.

Cutting through the hinge is easy to do with a standing stem, no top weight to pull it over, wedges, rope, whatever, done it myself!
