I had to replace something small and simple on my old ECHO CS-305. The choke grommet which doubles as the H/L carb adjusters cover went missing. She got a little wiff of sawdust but nothing significant. In the process of looking up parts I decided to look at Echo current model saws. The displacement of CS-303T is the same as 305 and exterior although restyled looks similar. Curious if anyone knows if the major internals are the same??? This little thing has alway cut like a rabid beaver 🦫
Part of me has toyed with idea of swapping parts and converting to a top handle but I'm no climber and I like the control of rear handle on this little saw.

The saw in the picture in post 1 is a carb forward case reed design. The 361P would be a rear handle saw with the same sort of layout. Layout as cylinder pointing rearward like most top handle saws. Most everything now is fuel/air drawn into the crankcase from below the piston skirt. The 303t seems to be the only case reed Echo has left for their USA website. I edited this post. One could look up the parts sheets and compare part numbers. The piston pin and ring are the same for the serial number ranges I chose. The drawing of the fins on the cylinder are different. I can see the rear anti vibe location for the top handle vs rear handle is different.
