Applications for CT residents to enter the State Firewood Permits lottery for 2016 are now being accepted until Feb. 1, 2016.
I don't know about other regions, but in Areas A & B there was not a lot of harvesting of hardwood that went on this year. But the again, it only takes a minute to fill out the form and throw it in the mail.
