its based on the m11 engine, upgraded electronics, generally a good lightweight engine compared to others in its class..was available up to 450hp though so yours is at the bottom of the hp curve, nothing a set of nozzels cant cure. has a variable geometry turbo which is good. 11 liter straight 6 engine. Known for their fuel economy.

Thank you very much for the response.I have a mechanic and ask him before i buy a tuck.I did buy this one and wasnt too familiar on dependability.I was looking at another truck before this with a c 12 cat engine it 2003 and the mechanic informed me about some problems with head gasket so im glad i picked the cummins thanks again.
