Ok guys and girls I took today off so I could take my epic failure back to best Buy for another replacement and I got home and figured,,,,well its in the low 70's why not fire up the Dalek and set the paint :) So I followed the instructions on the back of the can and lit her up, now its so hot in here I have three fans blowing on me while the smell goes away, she finally stopped smokeing about half and hour ago so now I just gotta wait for the fire to go out and the unit to cool down so I can adjust the damper.

I gotta do that too since I buffed and repainted some rust spots. Not looking forward to that smell. Will be at least a month before it gets anywhere near cool enough here, but I might just do it early some morning and get it over with.

One step closer to burning season!

Simple solution to most of the smell, open every window you have and put fans blowing OUT in two closest to the stove
