How many saw buyer out their base how many saws they buy ..... by the way a dealer treats them?
I made a purchase today....... and will never make the same mistake again..... this Dealer told me today (on my phone bill Long distance) that he did not have time to talk to me if I had not already gave my c/c # I would have canceled order... I will not say the name of this dealer ...
I will say their is a 99% chance he will read this....
If I get a apology for this this will go no farther

 Could someone translate this into English, please? I thought I was gettin' good at translating JPS's posts, but this one baffles me...... :dizzy:

I finally figured it out, he meant 'there' not 'their'! I couldn't figure out 'out their base'. :p

Well, I wouldn't base the number of saws I purchased but the number I would buy from him. I really don't understand what happened by your post either, but what ever it was, must have pissed you off. Can you explain the story better?

Ok guys, I think I may have deciphered what woodsjunkie is trying to say.

1. he seems to want to know if we would base the number of saws that we would purchase from a particular dealer based on how that dealer treated us. Well yah!

2. He apparently placed an order with this dealer (who seems to be a member of this forum) and given him his credit card number and then wanted to talk (who knows about what) If it was relevant to the immediate purchase I would be a little upset but I probably would have asked any of those questions before I plunked down the $$, plastic or otherwise. Woodsjunkie also doesn't seem to consider that the dealer may have had a shop full of customers that he was already helping when he called. Just a thought. I bet woodsjunkie would have been PO'ed if he was one of those customers in the shop and the dealer was yakking on the phone.

3. Woodjunkie seem to much heap mad at saw man!

A final thought: a little patience and understanding can go a LONG way!

We all have remember. When we call someone on the phone, be it a merchant or our best friend, we do so at OUR convenience and without knowledge of the other partys current availability.

A lot of us are 1 man shops. Right now I have 10 saws to do today plus 2 rebuilds. I always try to answer all questions, but I must get my loyal customers done. Remember, if they bought the saw here , they come first.

Just Guessing

I`m betting that Woodsjunkie wanted to chat with our fellow poster/dealer who stated "it's hair straight back until..." in another very recent post. That`s another way of saying "I`m very busy". I can`t and won`t do the bidding for anyone else, but if this is the individual in question, I know from experience that this is a misunderstanding. Maybe he had to go to the bathroom or something. Hard to say without being in the shop with him at the time. Russ

Well...well...we're going by conjecture here as to the circumstances of the transaction at the business location. It's true a little patience and understanding goes a long way, this applies to sellers especially, after all, they do benefit from the trade.
I never cared for "dailing for insults",especially if it cost me money.
Give this some more thought.....and if need be cancel the order.

I think that most of you maybe correct.... Maybe he was just busy...It just rubbed me wrong at the time.
I have to admit I was buying for price not service.
I have learn't my lesson on this.. "Cheaper is not always better"!

I got several e-mails and Phone calls from different dealers that I have did business with before...
Thanks for all the concern
I have talked to him and he apologized Says he was just real busy and was having a bad day.

Glad to hear the two of you smoothed it out. Even a good customer has to take a back seat sometimes when calling, over someone who drove to the shop and is holding green on the other side of the counter.
