i just replaced the cutter wheel on my carlton 5014 with only 40 hrs on it. i shot both cutter bearings with a temp gun because they felt a little hot. bearing on drive side is 125 degrees and the outside bearing is at 145- 150 degrees. Does anyone know what can cause this? The bearings have keeper blocks that so they can't really be adjusted up or down. are these temps to high ? or ok? please help with any input as changing the bearings on this machine is a real pita

Usually the drive side is hotter because of the belt adding load. As it's the other side, I can only imagine it runs not in line or is overgreased.
