They are really a great tool; actually when i ordered mine long ago, i was told you could load it into the bight; but kept it anyway. i keep it in a bucket with ~50' of HyVee 3 strand, a snap on the end, and a prussik loop to hook to hot line to tighten.

Don't use it that much, but quite a tool, lotta power(10/1) fer the money and weight, doesn't lose leverage like spooling winches etc., power any place, no matter how remote; where there is positive anchor to grab, and work to be done. Didn't think to replace the drive 'cogs' for the rope tracking mechanism, but i guess the soft rope would get hard to the even cast heat disapating aluminum at 1000# cranking(?)(recomended SWL)!

There is a free download to Z Brush 3D Drawing by PixoLogic (like Roger Rabbit etc.); that you can renew and get another free password every month indefinitely so far for your new pro-to-type, you can draw an item in 3D, change it from wood to metal, then spin it around stretch and and move parts of it on the other side, then turn it back around and continue. But draw another item, and control over the first stops, which becomes kinda a game in how far to think ahead, working in the rich color and 3d space. After well over a year, i got about 3% of it.........maybe! But, it is fun, eye candy and humbling! More creative fer kidz than a video game, no matter how olde they are!
