Well I got a phone call from the boss man yesterday. Said we would fire up and start working Monday. Then I be dad gum if he didn't call me this morning and say he didn't know when we was gonna start because him and the sawmill man can't see eye to eye on the price. Looks like I'm gonna be sitting around for a extra day or 3.

I'd make some more calls. Can't make money without the saw running.
That's probably what I'm gonna do. I really wanna work for the guy but sitting at the house is tough on the bank account.
!! don't count on or in the bank when it comes to forest industry work !! it's best to have a simple side job/hobby to keep you and the wolf busy while waiting for what usually don't happen!! simple as tree trimming to firewood for friends to while the time away... keeps the mind and energy sprites in good order! time also tells the story on employers or just blow hard wanna bee's!? to be true the only one you can count on is your own ambition! good luck madjoe....
Thanks man. I do have a few side jobs I can work at to make enough to get by. You're right. It does help to keep the mind occupied. It'll all come out in the wash [emoji6]
Well finally got the word. The boss calls and tells me today he worked it out with the saw Mill. They got their back and forth money troubles settled and says we are going to get started logging as soon as it dries up a little. It's still raining like hell here but the good ol weather man says its moving out. Anyways I don't know if anyone cares or not but just thought I'd share
