If anyones interested..I think this is a 1955 Australian manufactured model..being here in NZ..appears identical to the 1947 Canadian model 98cc Hi-Baller

I have something very similier it will be the last of the british experiance, no wonder no one loved them, their heavy, crude and love maintance like it's going out of fashion even in their day they spent more time in the workshop than in the bush.

Sorry but these things touch a raw nerve, i prefer to work on saws that carry a sense of well being and stay repaired, it's no wonder these saw are extinct, just like the Dodo although owning a Dodo would have been better as when it stopped producing at least you could eat it.
