Curious as to what models were tied with Craftsman, and what kind of lineage there was between DB and Sears....

Which are the most popular or desirable models??

just had a 'knowledge gap' i wanted filled :)

It seems that just about all of the Bradleys were sold by Sears and Roebuck.I have never seen one with the Craftsman name on it but there certainly could have been one. There were a few engines used made by Power Products, the AH47 was a 77cc. engine, the AH58 was a 95cc engine and the AH81 was a 130.7 cc engine. For collecting the model Three Sixty is looked at as a little different as it can have the bar mounted in two positions, inside and outside of the geardrive mounting pad and the bigger engined ,AH81 models are also sought after as collector pieces.

I believe the ah 47, ah 58, and ah 81 motors were made by tecumseh for david bradley and sears sold them for bradley. I know there are some out there that say sears right on the side that are identicle to bradley. One of them is a sears 647g and bradley 647g both of which used the ah 47 tecumseh motor if i am not mistaken. The bradley 758g used the ah 58 tecumseh and the bradley 5g 21 used the ah 81 tecumseh.

those with the ah-47 engines are a dime a dozen. if i were looking for DB for a collection it would definitely be a ah-58 or ah-81.
i have recently seen two instances of people having 47's and thinking they had a gold nugget. i saw a 360 bow that was originally listed for $399 and a straight bar 360 listed for $500.

Montgomery Wards also sold saws with the AH47, AH58, and AH81 Tecumseh/Power Products engines, as well as the big West Bend (Chrysler) 820...
