Where does this hose go? It just sticks up next to the carb. Don't these usually have set screws in them to restrict flow or duckbill valves? This vent starts pouring out fuel when the saw is on it's side and I put fuel in and sprays fuel when I pull the starter rope. I'm confused! Shouldn't there be a termination? Thanks, Kenny

The VENT on the little Dolmars is not that line you see its a duck bill valve in the top of the fuel tank covered by a piece of foam and a snap ring. The extra line should be blocked by a small pin. It is there for other markets where a primer bulb is used and the line would attach there.

Thanks Scott,
I knew there was a reason for fuel spilling out so easily.
The Oil Pump you sent worked out great, as did the sprocket and other parts.

This weekend will prove what the little saw can do.

Should I adjust the oiler so it sprays on newspaper? It is oiling now and I see the notch in the cover plate to access the pump adjuster screw, but how much oil is too much?

My customer picked up his 520 with new coil installed. He said it never ever started unchoked on the first pull like it does now. Thanks again.

With regular cutting it should use close to a tank of oil per tank of fuel if idling alot maybe a bit more oil. Yes a fine mist should carry to a piece of paper or wood or whatever you use lol.

Glad to have helped.

Scott,
One last question if I may.

What torque do you tighten the clutch and retaining nut to on the DCS340?

Thanks, Kenny
