I know that homeowner saws aren't really sought after on this forum. But I though I might try.

This is an 025 that I put some time into. I rebuilt it from the ground up with the only thing not being OEM is the air filter, fuel filter, and fuel line. It has new OEM crank seals and a new carb kit. I did some port work on the cylinder opening the intake and exhaust. I port matched the muffler, gutted the cat, and added a larger exhaust flange. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I have a video of it running in mulberry (a pretty dense hardwood) here:

I'm not looking to get rich, but I'm also not looking to give it away. A stock used saw seems to hold a selling value of $240-$280. I don't think $245 shipped is too ridiculous....

I had a dickens of a time trying to sell a Mastermind Echo cs520 (clamshell) that Randy himself had labeled a "346 killer". In the test log the saw was making 5 second cuts. As I recall, I sold the saw, 16" bar and chain, and 20'' bar and chain for $300 shipped. The guy that got it got a smokin deal, and I have regretted selling it ever since. Had it been a pro saw like a ported 346 or 261 I could easily have gotten 700+. It's all about name/brand/model recognition.

That saw looks like it really delivers! Great saw, sweet deal!
Thank you, I think it's a good deal as well. I keep hoping that there is some romantic sap on here that needs to get the Mrs. a last second gift from firewood santa.... Nothing says lovin' better than two strokes!

Deal of the day!!!!

$200 shipped!!!

Thats an awesome deal- someone needs to jump on this! If I didn't already have one with a heavy muffler mod- I'd be all over this. These saws are very underrated for what they can do- especially for their weight. Unlike a 260 series, these are light enough for limbing little stuff all day and strong enough to get you through 12-14" stuff in a pinch. A great little firewood and hunting cabin saw if you only want to have one saw out in the woods with you. It would make a great stocking stuffer! GLWS
