Okay, based on what I see you have an 0.063 bar, should be 115 drivers, the only way to tell the pitch is to look at the nose, it should have 3/8 or 404 stamped into it. @Huntaholic there's no such thing as 3/8 pitch .404 chain. It can only be 3/8 or .404.This is a 36” bar for my 056 mag 2. What chain will I need. The sprocket is a 7 tooth. Is the pitch .404?? Thank you
I just read what was on the bar, don't shoot the messenger. MY bars all read " 3/8. 50ga. XX DL That's 3/8 pitch, 50 gauge and whatever dl the bar is, 72, 84, 94, etc....Okay, based on what I see you have an 0.063 bar, should be 115 drivers, the only way to tell the pitch is to look at the nose, it should have 3/8 or 404 stamped into it. @Huntaholic there's no such thing as 3/8 pitch .404 chain. Haha that's right where I went but couldn't figure out how to link the website so I screenshot it.363 means 36", 0.063 gauge. On a new bar the number will read something like 363RNDD025. The first two digits are the length, the third is the gauge (0 = 0.050, 8 = 0.058, 3 = 0.063), RN = Roller (sprocket) Nose, D = 3/8 (H = .404), and D025 is the mount. Here's a handy pdf I reference when I'm id'ing bars. The two p/n's are for either the 3/8 or .404 variants.

Yes, but they have to use different noses for .325, .375 (3/8), .404, etc. Oregon uses one nose for all the different gauges too, it's just the pitch that matters.AS far as looking at the nose goes, look at a tsumura bar and get back to me. They are ALL one gauge, regardless of the actual bar itself.
