Got a box of parts and it had a couple NOS jug and piston sets. Here are some pics.

Box reads 1120-020-1216

Is there an online source to figure out the application? They are 4 bolt jugs so they are the newer style(gray saw) I have a couple orange 009's with the 2 bolt sytle jugs and need those. They both measure 36 mm so they NOs ones I have have to be close to the 009. 010 or 011 maybe? Thanks for any assistance.

An old box I had for the 009 orange 2 bolt jug has a 1120-020-1200 part number

its 36mm...fits an 010

It is 36mm. Both old and new. These would fit a newer grey model 009 or 010 with the 4 bolt. I have the 2 bolt earlier version and will not interchange. Piston probably would but not the jug. My luck!

Guess I'll keep my eyes out for those saws as I can revive those at least.

Thanks for the reply big t double.

I recently bought a 1991 Stihl 025 all apart in a box. I already had a very late 025 and a early MS250.
As I got more familiar with what I had in the box and comparing with the illustrated parts list, There were several items on the saw that were newer than 1991.
As the engine mounting area of the case was worn out, I needed another plastic case/tank/handle assembly.
Soon I was into a can of worms with the brake handle, starter cover, and other small parts that were going to need to be replaced to get back to compatibility - old and new.
The 025 turned out very nice but with all the parts replaced over the years by others and with what I put on it, the only things 1991 about the saw are the cylinder and crankshaft. On the outside it looks like a very nice late 90's 025 cover on a new MS250 case assembly. Runs great. I'll never do that again. I have enough money into it to have bought a reasonable MS250. But it wouldn't look any nicer or run any better than the 025 frankensaw that I have.

So dealing with older saws is sometimes a real challenge. A 2012 MS250 is a long ways from a 1991 025. Some parts are the same, others are different but may replace the older one. Replacement parts from Stihl may not be exactly like the early version originals.
