Hello,
I have three types of trees and bushes that I want to do a deep pruning on and I need to know how I should proceed.
1. Nellie Stevens Holly about 22ft tall. I would like to take this down by a 1/3 or maybe 1/2. It is currently UN-managable because of the height and girth.
2. Red Tip Phitinea. I have two of these side by side about 15ft high and very wide. I have taken a few limbs off of them over the last few years but how far can I take these down?
3. Japanese Holly bushes. I would like to start over on these and do a complete rejuvenation. They have become very dense and difficult to shape and a portion of one of them died off last year but seems to be coming back.
Any information would be helpful.
Thank You.
Chris
