I really don`t know and understand what you put in there. It seems to be not the tank vent. The right tank vent for this FS 90 (4180 series) is the 0000 350 5807 vent and that looks totally different than the thing you have here. The tank vent looks like this. On the nipple of this vent is a piece of hose which connects to the air filter housing.

It isn't the tank vent. It is the piece that goes into the tank. Has the hoses that go to the carburetor
