I almost forgot the joy of climbing a bug infested white fir. My glove sticks to my saw when lower it. The rope grab on my lanyard freezes up. But worse of all my prusik(vt) becomes useless. I have to remove it and peel it off. I tried my Gree gree 2 but the rope won't go through it after it gets sapped up. I've been having to use use a carabinier and repal down. Guess I could use a figure 8 but that's kind of frowned on. Im thinking maybe a zig zag might work. Anyone have any experience using a zig zag in that situation?
