Hi,
I have two husqvarna 288's. I was wondering if you could tell me the difference between the 288 XP Lite and the 288 XP Also the decals are wore off of one, but on the serial tag it says 288 G, what is it??? Thanks
Ryan
P.S. I did do a search and looked on Mike Acres site(great site).

Hmmmmm, a "G" behind the model number usually means heated handles, but I never heard of that option on the 288.......:help:

I have also wondered about what makes the 288xp "Lite" .2 kg lighter than the ordinary one.

My only proposal is the style of air filter/filter cover, but that difference is present on several other models also, without it influencing the model designation........:crazy1:
