Differeneces between 064Mag and 066Mag

What are the differences? Are the power differences great?

They are different designs. Yes.

Sorry. I couldn't help myself.:angel: The are really related saw designs, The 66 has a bigger bore and has almost 7ccs more displacement. It significantly out performs the 64. Presumably due to some port timing differences more than just the bigger displacement. Hopefully one of the builders can give more precise answers.

P.S. I don't think that Stihl designated an 064 as a Magnum.

66 has bigger tanks, 64 had problems with the bottom end, ..
