dirt daubers strike again

Anyone out there found a good way to keep the daubers out of the muffler ports? Less than three weeks have gone by since I used this saw, and two out of three ports were plugged!

Dont store it where they can get to it. or fire it up every couple days.

just short of a vacuum chamber, I have yet to find a place they can't get to.

what you need, is something like a toolbox for a truckbed that you can seal to make it literally airtight.

I am on the Coast and dirt daubers have taken over but inside my shed everything seems to be safe

as treeco said--duct tape--red green would say the same thing--------------------------!!!!!!

They got into my air tools....I blasted a bunch of mud into my die grinder, before i realized it. Grrrrr..... had to disasemble and clean it. I found some plastic caps, and put them on all the male air, quick connects on all my air tools.
