DMM Pinto Rig

I managed to snag two DMM Pinto Rig pulleys for about half price, figured they'd be great for lighter rigging or blocking down some smaller stuff. What would be your limits for these pulleys as a rigging block? They are rated at 10kn or about a 2400lb WLL and 50KN max breaking strength. And how would you attach them to the eye of a sling? Shackle or steel oval carabiner?

I wouldn't use one for rigging. They're not designed or rated for that purpose. Better pulleys can be had for cheap, get something 50kn, or just use a steel carabiner on a sling if you're short on cash. About $5.
