Do You Have a Foiled Coil?

It has been my understanding that Stihl no longer will be giving a life long gaurantee on coils as of 03, however all previous warrantees on coils will be honored. I have only heard of one coil going on a Stihl that I personally know of.

Out of about a dozen Stihls since the mid 90s only one, it was on a 46mag , used to go thru quite afew on huskys before Stihls.

I get a few bad modules every once in a while, usually homelites, 031's and I have replaced a few on the new stihls, ones i remember were an 025, 046, and a blower...
