starts, run and cuts ok externally ok 24-28" bar and 81 link chain ( moded husky bar) bar is in decent shape also some life left in chain ( might have another around as well) perhaps a bit low on depth gauges as I can bog it. The bad - chain break band totaled ( been that way since i got it some 8 or so years ago) I never used it a lot as I bought a 7900 at a great price about a year later. No idea what it looks like internal, feels good when you rip her over. Idles down fine, comes right up when jump on the trigger. I/2 throttle and choke work fine. Only fuel issue I know about - will leak fuel from carb area when dumped on chain side when it isn't running.. I have 2- 6400's so this is redundant. No ignition problems that I have experienced either. Oiler is fine
NEW price $175+ Ship

Got 1 in my buddies shop right now...I might be a player. You're running a 24-28" bars with no problem????
Chisel chain?

Ran it the other day, Couple pulls to pop one more with choke off an off to the races. Sliced up some big leaf Maple chunks, ran fine. its not a beauty queen but other than the mentioned issue of the chain brake it is a working unit. bar length is 28", 3/8-.050 81 links. This is a different mount than my other 5 Dolmars. I have 112 ( pushing 50+ cc) also but I do not remember the mount # on that one. As I have a 6400 and a Dolita 6421 + a pair of 7900's ( ya I suffer from CAD) this is odd man out. I got this about 8-9 years ago when all I had was 14" Poulan and needed something with more juice and longer reach, came with a well worn 28" at that time so replaced it. About a year later got the first 7900 a great price from a company selling out. So it has not been used much by my self. It was a CL buy in my area so do not have any other history. So for me 3- 60cc class saws is a bit much. With the 64's and 79's I can swap bars around for what ever I am doing 24"-32". anything over that and the Stilh 075 ( 111 cc) comes out of hibernation -24",36",41" ( 404x.063) bars on that. It is a heavy tank, got to have your wits about you when using it. I have never had it apart so can not provide info as to internals, Not a 2 stoke wiz, I can sometimes fumble my way though small issues.
